Host a Home Party or Event

An Awareness Party is a way you can educate your friends about trafficking and slavery at your home, school, community center, or place of worship. You don’t need to be know a lot about the issue as we send you films to play and all the materials you need. An Awareness Party can be formal or informal, large or small. You can inject your own interests and personality into the event – wine and cheese, a tea party, a four-course dinner – it’s all good!

We provide you the tools to educate your guests about trafficking, including a video, a speech for you to read, printed awareness materials, recipes, catalogs, brochures, and beautiful handicraft products.
Because we want people to take action, our film is a balance between showing the reality of slavery and what is being done to end it.

HOW IT WORKS:

In the past, we used to send out products for home parties on consignment to anyone who signed up. Unfortunately, we were losing money and lots of products in the process, and it just isn't sustainable anymore.
So now we are asking party hosts to help out by choosing to do either a catalog/sample party, or by buying a kit if they are able.

If you choose to do a catalog/sample party, we ask you to buy a host catalog/sample kit for $25, which includes 3 sample products, a hardcover book, brochures/catalogs/forms, State Dept. Trafficking report, and party DVD. I assure you no one is getting rich from these kits. $25 is our cost for the products and printing, and we used to pay the cost ourselves, but it is becoming too expensive for us to continue.

If you are able to make a small investment in your party, you can purchase a kit of products at $100 or $200, and we will also include the party DVD, catalogs, brochures, printable materials, and everything you need for your party.

WEEKLY CONFERENCE CALL:

In order to build and support a nationwide community of abolitionists and to offer more support to our volunteer team, we are going to host a weekly half hour conference call every Sunday night at 8pm EST.

The first call will be Easter Sunday, March 23. We guarantee it will be an uplifting and motivating way to start your week.
We will start each call with a short report of news from our overseas partners, suggestions & ideas for events, or general education about trafficking. Then we will have time for you to ask questions and share your ideas.
