Priyanka is my best friend. We were school mates.  But now I have left school, so I do not get to meet her quite often. We used to have immense fun during Christmas. I miss her a lot. We were extremely dependent on each other.  And now when I don’t get to meet her, I miss her more. I don’t think this Christmas would be exciting enough since she would not be around. in her absence, the day has lost its charm for me. She has been with me like a shadow throughout my school years. Be it sharing secrets, cracking jokes, playing parnks, or crying my heart out in despair she has always been there for me. Her presence would make me feel happy and secured. But now I am alone here, left with her memories which I keep cherishing time and again.
