These stunning silver earrings have a hammered texture, and Swarovski crystal bead accent. They were designed by Melissa Tyson, as a variation on a design by Deepa, an artisan in our Calcutta Jewelry Program. It is so much fun as this program evolves for us to see the creativity exploding out of our survivor-artisans, and even in some cases inspiring professional designers like Melissa. Perhaps because of the darkness they have endured, our survivors have an unusually high level of creativity and irrepressible joy.
