These barrel-shaped recycled paper earrings are so cool! They are actually made from magazine strips wound tightly, dipped in glue, and strung on sterling silver ear wires. Each pair is different and sometimes you can even see a bit of text or image from the original magazine page. The survivors who make these earrings are really committed to the environment (rightly so, they live in Fiji!) and make several other jewelry products from recycled or locally sourced materials.
