The muted tones of this unique necklace embody the spirit of desert sands on a clear blue day. It features brass sun symbols, clear and translucent brown recycled-glass beads from Ghana, and an assortment of hand-painted beads in smoky blues, greens, and creams, with Freedom Stones signature reclaimed-brass clasp, 26” long. The beads are made from crushed glass which is then cooked in a kiln in a process unique to the region. The artisans are older adolescent boys and girls, and young adults who have been rescued from slavery in the fishing industry of Lake Volta.
