Community Action Campaigns
There are several community-based actions you can take to help fight modern day slavery.
1. Start a Community Group
To help get started, use this free toolkit, developed by the DC Stop Modern Slavery Group.

2. Free to Play - Soccer with a Purpose
Get your local soccer leagues and schools to only play with slavery-free soccer balls. You can order these regulation-size balls from our online store.
3. Connect with other local groups
Talk with other community-based organizations, like the Rotary Club or Elks Club, places of worship, women's clubs, schools, or country clubs about partnering in the fight against modern-day slavery.
4. Political Advocacy
Talk with your representatives about human trafficking and ask them to pass related legislation. Ask your officials to use Made by Survivors note cards for Thank You cards and Holiday Greeting cards.
